A busy weekend in Manchester for the TriExpo

Shopping these days is not just about buying a few essentials. The customers want to have an “experience”, something that will tempt them to stay longer and want to be a part of the brand.

The 2017 TriExpo is by far the best gathering of all things triathlon and being based in Manchester, it was an event we just couldn’t miss. Star athletes attending, big brands showcasing and a chance for us to push our name in the sport. It was great weekend for Black Mamba Elite to connect with so many new people and increase our network of friends and alliances.

Being part of an Expo gives you the perspective to be better at your craft. As we are mainly an online business, for people to see, try and feel the fabrics we use when creating our range, backs up our claim that we give nothing less then 100% to each item released. The one to one feedback is also invaluable to us on creating new additional items, to bounce ideas off of in the future. Our main goal was to promote the launch of the Tri-Combat series, with a singlet and sleeved option, as well as our black camo compression sleeves. With different fabrics on each mannequin, we have taken this information back and improved the overall design. Unlike most brands who present a suit and simply take a sale. We wanted to offer more to the customer. The style, the fit, additional sponsor logos and more. With 27 pre-orders sold over the weekend, plus 6 custom suit projects in place, we are proud to say it was a successful venture!

Day 2 brought the support of our stockist T-Nutrition Preston in Nick Bond, Tri-athlete Neil Kenny, female face of our brand Mandie Nugent and special celebrity guest, Free-running founder – Sebastein Foucan! With our team assembled we offered challenges to win free prizes, meet and greet opportunities with our James Bond villain, which people still could not believe was in Manchester, and to continue our push on our current apparel range and informing people of our new women’s apparel due for an April/May release.

A special thank you to all who stopped past our stand, it was great to meet you all and talk about who we were and find out what you wanted to see from us. In all, a great weekend and we are looking forward to seeing you represent on social media! #MambaMentality
