He has represented Scotland and Scottish Schools in Celtic games, International age group games throughout the UK and Ireland. He is one of eight Scottish athletes forming part of the Scottish relay development team for the Commonwealth Games in 2018 such is his promise. Having recorded a 10 second run for 100m and 7.19 seconds for 60m he has now reached a level of competition which requires attendance at UK championships and events in England to allow him to experience and gain education to further his chances to represent Inverclyde and Scotland at the Commonwealth games 2018.
