Competitors from all over Europe have travelled to take part in Belfast’s Strongest Man which has been organised in memory of a local boy Nathan Doyle, who was a massive fan of the sport. His father Stephen Doyle said he is honoured the event has been named after his son, saying he was a “warrior” all his life. Nathan Doyle, who couldn’t walk or speak, battled an extremely rare genetic disorder before he passed away a few months ago.
We are proud that our ambassador Gaz Smith was there to represent Team England and not only do his country proud, but place 3rd against some great athletes and in more so for a great cause.
